MrBeast’s ends latest video by trapping four contestants in a grocery store for up to a year

MrBeast’s newest YouTube challenge took an unexpected turn when the four remaining contestants decided to transform a competition to see who could last the longest in a grocery store into a year-long eating contest with a $1 million prize.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, creates popular videos known for their huge budgets, challenging competitions, and impressive prizes. His latest video involved a fully stocked grocery store, where participants were originally told the last one remaining would win $250,000.

The event was hinted at in Greenville back in January, but what people thought was a new grocery store opening was actually a setup for a MrBeast video shoot.

Eat an entire grocery store, win $1million

Near the end of the video, things shifted on Day 67 when Donaldson came back to the final four contestants with a surprising new proposal. He suggested they abandon the original challenge and work together to try and eat everything in a grocery store, with a million-dollar prize on the line.

MrBeast explained that his idea went beyond simply giving them a lot of money. He promised to refill the store with items, create comfortable living spaces with beds and showers, and offer resources like a nutritionist, trainer, and gym to help them stay healthy while continuing the challenge.

One participant shared that having a wife and two children made it a difficult choice, but the group agreed to the terms and told him to get started. MrBeast explained that the challenge could potentially continue for up to a year.

Honestly, the way that video ended is what everyone’s talking about! It seems like this is the first time MrBeast has ever changed a challenge based on the contestants’ decision not to accept the initial prize. It’s pretty interesting to see him respond to their wishes like that.

What began as a $250,000 challenge to see how long someone could survive has evolved into a million-dollar test of endurance. The catch? Competitors have no outside help and must ultimately eat all the food from an entire grocery store to win.
