Aquaplus has released a new manga chapter on their Japanese website for Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered. This 33-page comic retells the story of what happened before the game, essentially summarizing the events of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten.
So, the newest Utawarerumono game has an English website, which is awesome! But the manga that’s part of it? It’s only available in Japanese right now, on the Japanese site. I’m really hoping Aquaplus and Shiravune will release an English version, but they haven’t said anything about it yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
Monochrome Mobius is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam. Aquaplus is also planning a Nintendo Switch 2 version, which will launch on May 28th at midnight in Japan, the same day as the release of Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered. The PC version of Utawarerumono will be released worldwide on Steam a day earlier, on May 27th.
