Capcom kicked off the final day of Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a presentation about the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. During the event, they shared more information about the new features coming in the collection, including details not previously announced in the Nintendo Direct or the online TGS 2025 program.
The event showcased actual gameplay footage from a demo version of the game, allowing viewers who couldn’t attend the Makuhari Messe event to see it in action. This demo let players experience the beginning of the first Mega Man Star Force, including a battle against the Taurus Fire boss in the first dungeon.
This footage showcases customizable options, allowing players to adjust the size and orientation of the dual screens, and even change how much damage the Mega Buster does. You’ll also be able to see and access items from the wave field. A particularly helpful feature is the ability to move the camera freely around the map to scout routes without actually moving Mega Man, which will help avoid unnecessary fights.
You can watch the event stream right here. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X, and PC (via Steam) in 2026.
