Based on recent information, it seems that one of Marvel Studios‘ standout villains from Phase 5 is set to make a return in an upcoming project. So far, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) have been thrilled by some formidable antagonists, such as the fearsome Kang from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and the imposing Red Hulk played by Harrison Ford in Captain America: Brave New World. However, among these memorable adversaries, Aubrey Plaza’s character, Rio Vadal (also known as Death), has particularly caught people’s attention.

It’s being speculated that Marvel Studios may have further plans for Aubrey Plaza’s character Agatha All Along in the MCU. Even though her character, Agatha, was seemingly defeated at the end of Kathryn Hahn’s Disney+ series, there was a sense she might return to the franchise, and now it seems that could indeed happen.

In 2024’s “Agatha All Along”, Aubrey Plaza made her debut as Rio Vidal/Death, portraying the main antagonist in the popular supernatural streaming series. She entered the storyline as a enigmatic character within Agatha Harkness’ (Kathryn Hahn) central coven, eventually revealing herself to be a powerful sorceress with hidden secrets. It was discovered that she and Agatha shared a complex, perilous history marked by unexpected twists.
