MAISON SPECIAL, a renowned Japanese label, has revealed an exclusive collaboration with Hideaki Anno’s beloved anime franchise, Evangelion. This limited collection boasts seven unique pieces: four graphic T-shirts and three jacquard-knit short-sleeved tops, each piece thoughtfully reimagining pivotal characters and moments from the iconic series.

Instead of sticking with traditional methods like screen printing, the collection highlights artisanship and uniqueness by incorporating hand-sketched illustrations and elaborate knitting techniques to translate popular Evangelion characters onto clothing. The graphic t-shirts showcase freshly drawn interpretations of Rei Ayanami, Units 00/01/02, Pen Pen, and even Lilith – all presented in a unique hand-drawn digital style.

Meanwhile, the jacquard-knit tops showcase iconic scenes from the anime, translated into richly textured five-color knits that highlight MAISON SPECIAL’s craftsmanship. This approach offers fans a wearable homage that feels both elevated and deeply personal. Currently available for pre-order via
