College Football 25 marks the first NCAAF video game from EA Sports since the release of NCAA Football 14 in 2013. For quite some time now, fans have eagerly anticipated the return of this series. After a decade filled with legal disputes and discussions about Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), we can finally take to the virtual field as our beloved schools.

According to us, College Football 25 delivers a more enjoyable all-round gaming experience compared to Madden 25. The player movements seem more agile, maneuvers such as juke and spin are noticeably efficient, and the improved passing mechanism functions exceptionally well.

As a gamer, I can’t wait to jump into College Football 25 where I get the chance to represent any of the 134 FBS schools in the NCAA. Feeling like a true Bulldog at Georgia or embracing the spirit of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, it’s all up to me! The game offers an immersive experience as I play on their home turf and even neutral sites for bowl games, conference matches, championships, and more. This is just a taste of the depth College Football 25 brings to its presentation.

In the realm of college football, College Football 25 delivers a fantastic showcase with unique mascots, catchy fight songs, school-specific cheers, dedicated fan sections, and more. Each game offers a fresh experience as you take control of your chosen NCAAF players. Indeed, College Football 25 boasts over 10,000 real players who have given their consent to be included in the game, lending it an authentic feel.

To conclude, College Football 25 reintroduces two timeless game modes: Dynasty and Return to Glory. In Dynasty, you’ll assume the role of a coach where you can select any school, recruit fresh talent, and strive for a championship. On the other hand, Return to Glory offers you an immersive experience by allowing you to simulate your own college football career before moving on to the NFL (equivalent to Madden 25).

If you’re a fan of the NFL who doesn’t follow College Football and haven’t seen some of its top players yet, Madden might already have an edge in winning your money. Just because there’s more quantity doesn’t always mean better quality, and getting to play as the elite players can be an irresistible opportunity. Is it enjoyable to control Quinshon Judkins and exploit his spin move? Absolutely. But sometimes you yearn to play as exceptional talents like Justin Jefferson, Lamar Jackson, or Christian McCaffrey.

Among all video games currently available, Madden 25 stands alone as the one that authentically includes NFL teams with fully updated rosters. Personally, I’ve found myself more drawn to the excitement of the NFL compared to College Football. This preference is partly due to the straightforward structure of the NFL, where a perfect season of 16 wins typically secures the top spot. In contrast, in College Football 25, your success can hinge on factors beyond your control.

Moreover, Madden 25’s Franchise feature allows for the incorporation of up to 32 total Team Builder squads in a single franchise. Conversely, College Football 25 only accommodates 16 teams per Dynasty. This means that if you and your friends desire, you could establish an entire league made up of team builder teams.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got to say that Madden 25 has really stepped up its game this year when it comes to enhancing the Franchise mode. The revamped Draft Night, complete with Roger Goodell, is a standout addition. Plus, they’ve got three different commentary teams on board, adding depth and realism to the experience. But what really takes it to the next level are the Breakout Storylines – these let you build a connection with your players, making the whole thing feel more personal and immersive.

As a gamer myself, I’ve got to say that I find the Superstar mode in Madden 25 more appealing than College Football 25’s Road To Glory. The ability to customize your own plays might seem trivial at first, but trust me, it significantly enhances the gaming experience. It gives you a sense of control that’s hard to find elsewhere. Plus, on Gameday, the extra control makes everything feel more comfortable and tailored to my playing style.

Conclusion – Should you get Madden 25 or College Football 25?

In our opinion, the most recent version of College Football is currently providing a superior gaming experience compared to Madden at this moment. While enhancements could potentially elevate Madden, the college football aspect of EA Sports’ latest football titles offers an exceptional experience that makes it worth exploring over Madden, given its improved gameplay and unique position as the first College Football video game in more than a decade.

If you’re more of an NFL fan and College Football doesn’t hold much appeal for you, there’s a possibility that you could find CFB 25 less engaging. This is because it can be challenging to stay engaged when the game isn’t featuring your favorite team or league. Furthermore, Madden 25 provides a more immersive player-career mode (Superstar) that gives you greater control before the snap.

Despite College Football 25 claiming a victory with their impressive 25 wins, there’s plenty for each game to learn from one another. In my opinion as a fan, College Football 25 could enhance its Superstar mode by allowing us to call our own plays in the huddle. On the other hand, Madden 25 might consider improving player movement if it utilizes the same engine. Ultimately, I’m hopeful that both titles will continue to evolve for the better, ensuring that both consumers and developers reap the rewards of their progress in the future.

And that wraps up our comparison of College Football 25 vs. Madden 25. If you decide to pick up both games, learn how to import your RTG player into Madden 25 Superstar mode.
