‘Looksmaxxing’ streamer Androgenic kicked off plane after facial surgery makes him “very ill”

A streamer known for promoting cosmetic procedures, often called “looksmaxxing,” was removed from a flight after airline staff expressed concern about his appearance, noting he looked unwell following surgery in Thailand.

Ronan Androgenic, a 25-year-old social media influencer from Brisbane, shared a TikTok video of himself being escorted off a Jetstar flight right before it took off, which led to a public disagreement with airline staff.

The video shows Androgenic on a plane with significant bandages on his jaw and chin, likely due to cosmetic surgery he had in Thailand about five days prior.

So, I’m actually getting kicked off my flight right now! Apparently, the issue is I didn’t have my meds in my carry-on, which I totally forgot about. It’s a mess, and I’m explaining it all in this video.

Staff expressed concern to Androgenic, noting he seemed sleepy and didn’t appear to be feeling well.

“When I speak something, and I ask you, your reply was very drowsy,” one staff member told him.

Another crew member noticed his face was swelling, particularly around his eyes, and told him he didn’t look well enough to continue. They said he appeared quite sick and unfit for duty.

Androgenic denied any wrongdoing, explaining he was just exhausted and attempting to rest during the flight. He further stated that a doctor had given him permission to travel.

“I’m trying to go to sleep on the flight, is that not f**king normal?” he said.

Despite any documents he’d already presented, staff explained they could still evaluate his health when he boarded the plane.

As the argument continued, the flight crew told Androgenic he was disturbing other passengers and needed to deplane.

“What the f**k do you expect me to do? I need to go home,” he shouted.

Jetstar explained to News.com.au that their crew are trained to check if passengers seem healthy enough to fly. They have the right to prevent someone from boarding if they’re concerned about their well-being.

The airline also said it does not tolerate abusive language or behavior toward staff.

Androgenic is an online platform associated with “looksmaxxing,” a debated trend where people try to dramatically improve their looks through intense self-improvement, body modifications, and cosmetic surgery.

This trend gained popularity thanks to another streamer, Clavicular, who’s also faced several controversies – including a widely criticized incident where he filmed himself shooting a dead alligator in Florida.
