If you enjoyed games like Desert Strike and its sequels, get ready for a wave of familiar feelings! Developer somasolo has just released the second gameplay trailer for a new game called Cobra Strike. You can check it out below.
What is Cobra Strike?
Cobra Strike is a classic-style shooter that puts you in the pilot’s seat of various helicopters, where you’ll destroy enemies and finish challenging missions across diverse locations like deserts, cities, and the open ocean. The game draws a lot of inspiration from the games of the 1990s. It features 16-bit graphics and aims to recreate the enjoyable feeling of those older titles.
The developer has created a diverse selection of famous attack and support helicopters, such as the Cobra, Apache, Huey, Black Hawk, and Chinook. Each helicopter handles differently in flight, carries unique weapons, and is designed for specific types of missions.
When you’re playing, thinking ahead and planning your attacks is crucial, and we’ll provide a tactical map to assist you with strategy. During battles, effectively managing important supplies like ammunition, armor, and fuel will be essential. You’ll also discover a variety of hidden items scattered across the battlefield.
Cobra Strike is currently without a confirmed release date. The game will be available only on PC, and players can now add it to their Steam wishlist to stay updated.
Cobra Strike isn’t the sole project taking inspiration from the popular 90s TV show. We previously told you about another game with a similar feel, called Cleared Hot.
