
Despite years of trying to bring Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorns and Roses to life, the adaptation hasn’t moved forward. However, a fantastic alternative project has emerged.
Penn Cole’s popular novel, Spark of the Everflame, the first book in the Kindred’s Curse series released in 2023, is being adapted into a TV show. Hulu is developing the series, titled Everflame, based on Cole’s book.
The new adaptation of Everflame is being created by Heidi Cole McAdams, one of the co-creators of Death and Other Details, along with Cole, and 20th Television.
The author shared the exciting news on Instagram: The Kindred’s Curse saga is being adapted into a TV series by 20th Television and Hulu! She’s been working with showrunner Heidi Cole McAdams on the project for over a year, and it was difficult keeping it a secret.
