Mouse: P.I. for Hire is a really fun game, and there’s plenty to do beyond the main story. You can hunt for hundreds of collectibles and take on fourteen different side missions, giving you lots of choices for how to play.
These optional quests are called side jobs, and most of them aren’t very difficult. However, they’re easy to overlook, so it’s helpful to have a save file you can return to if you miss one.
Don’t forget to check out the “Blueprints, Please” side case – it’s one of the first you can take on in Mouse: P.I.
How to Start the Side Job

The “Blueprints, Please” side quest becomes available during the “Cheeseball Sub” main quest. It’s best to start “Blueprints, Please” as soon as “Cheeseball Sub” unlocks, before doing anything else.
Talk to Tammy Tumbler, found in the basement of her shop, which is behind the Ammo Store. She’ll want you to grab some Interesting Blueprints during your next mission.
Now that your side job is started, you can begin. Go to your car and drive to the Old Subway.
Completing the Side Job
During the mission, play as usual until you’re almost finished. You’ll eventually come to an air vent—it’s shown in the picture. Simply crawl through it to continue.
You’ll come to a locked door. To the right is a ladder that’s important for completing the quest. We need to go through the door, and it’s a simple lock to open – though there’s a hint pictured above it if you get stuck.
Go through the door to enter a large, open room. You’ll find a switch right inside – flip it to turn on a fan at the back. Now, use your glide ability – the one you unlocked after defeating the boss – to fly upwards.
You can land on the platform near the four barrels that are on fire. Once you’re there, turn around and look down – you’ll see a small hut right below where you’re standing.

Go inside the hut and find the blueprints Tammy needs. Once you have them, leave the hut and finish the main task. After that, return to the P.I. Office.
Rewards
Once back, speak with Tammy to give her the blueprints. She’s in her shop, just like before.
She’ll reward you with two blueprints that let you improve your weapons at the B.A.N.G. station. It’s a really useful reward, and if you haven’t already, you should definitely upgrade the James Gun – it’s the most powerful weapon in the game.
