As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for strategic RPGs, I can hardly contain my excitement for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6! The prospect of delving into Penacony’s Paperfold Universary, especially during its anniversary celebrations, has me eager to don my academic cap and gown. The idea of studying alongside characters like March 7th and Dan Heng sounds nothing short of intriguing, not to mention the chance to meet a new 5-star ninja, Rappa.
HoYoverse has announced that the Version 2.6 of “Honkai: Star Rail,” titled “Annals of Pinecany’s Mappou Age,” is set to release on October 23. This update transports players into Penacony’s Paperfold Universary, which is about to begin its new semester and approach its anniversary celebrations.
In the update 2.6 of Honkai: Star Rail, the mission “Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity” in Trailblaze Continuance will offer players an opportunity to become a student auditor at Paperfold University, where they’ll be studying alongside characters like March 7th and Dan Heng. This scholarly journey promises to foster significant bonds, as per HoYoverse. During their time there, players will encounter a new top-tier ninja character named Rappa.
Rappa masters the ancient ninjutsu technique and adheres to the Ninja Code by incorporating rap, graffiti, and comic styles into her ninja scrolls. As a cosmic ranger, she pursues the malevolent Evil Ninja Osaru across the galaxy. Her unique skill set includes entering Sealform and summoning Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, which she wields in first-person perspective, making her an exceptional and distinctive character within the game. She inflicts significant damage on enemies and can lower their defensive capabilities without relying on Imaginary Weakness.
In Version 2.6, a fresh Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription event is introduced, enabling players to collaborate with Rappa and assume the role of a band manager at the Dreamlight Anniversary music celebration. Concurrently, characters such as Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will reappear during the initial and second stages of the Warp Event taking place in Version 2.6.
In Version 2.6, we’re launching the third expansion pack for the Simulated Universe, which comes after Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. This new addition is called The Unknowable Domain, and it simulates the conflict among scholarly factions over Emperor Rubert II’s Scepter system, an event that occurred post-Second Emperor’s War.
