The version 2.6 of the game is scheduled to launch globally on October 23 for PC, PS5, iOS, and Android devices. This new update, titled “Annals of Pinecany’s Mappou Age”, will transport players back to Penacony where they can visit Paperfold University, meet fresh characters like Rappa, enjoy repeat runs of Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine, and much more. The Simulated Universe DLC is also set for a significant update in this version.

HoYoverse has revealed that Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 2.6, titled “Annals of Pinecany’s Mappou Age,” is set for release on October 23rd. In this update, players will venture to Paperfold University in Penacony, a renowned institution brimming with anticipation for the new academic year and its anniversary festivities. Additionally, players can look forward to meeting the latest 5-star character, Rappa, a fearless Galaxy Ranger. Moreover, the much-awaited Simulated Universe DLC will receive a significant and exhilarating upgrade in this version as well.
In the aftermath of the Xianzhou escapade, players find themselves returning to the vibrant city of Penacony and visiting Paperfold University, a highly esteemed cosmic educational establishment brimming with activity as it gears up for a new semester and its anniversary festivities. The campus is abuzz with clubs seeking new members and musical performances echoing through the air. For this unique event, the university has arranged an exclusive academic symposium, and our heroes aboard the Astral Express have been invited as esteemed guests to join in the celebrations. In the upcoming Version 2.6 Trailblaze Continuation mission titled Banana Outrage: Battles Without Ninja and Humanity, the Trailblazer will enroll at Paperfold University as a part-time student, embracing the delightful campus lifestyle. Sharing this experience with companions such as March 7th and Dan Heng, Trailblazers will not only tackle academic rigors but also foster valuable friendships, adding an exceptional touch to their scholastic journey.
As students at Trailblaze Campus delve into their college experience, they’ll encounter an extraordinary new ally named Rappa – a fearless and distinct character, eager to join the fray. She identifies herself as a ninja, crediting her abilities to the ancient art of “ninjutsu.” Rappa chants ninja incantations, crafts Luminous Ninja Symbols, and adheres to the path of the ninja through scrolls, seamlessly blending rap music, graffiti, and comic books. With iron self-discipline, she traverses the cosmos, championing justice. As a Cosmic Ranger, Rappa embarks on an unyielding quest to track down her arch-nemesis, Evil Ninja Osaru, across the universe. In combat, after summoning her Ultimate, she assumes Sealform and releases Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade in a unique first-person perspective. During the attacks of Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, Rappa can effectively damage groups of enemies and decrease their durability without requiring Imaginary Weakness. This new rendition promises an exhilarating series of events. In “Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription,” Trailblazers will be welcomed as a guest and take on the role of band manager for the Dreamlight Anniversary music event, collaborating with Rappa and directing the band’s thrilling performances at the concert.
To add on, the strong characters Dan Heng, Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine, who were given a 5-star rating, are set to reappear during both halves of the Version 2.6 warp event. These powerful individuals will continue to be valuable allies in your upcoming journeys due to their outstanding support.
