As a long-time fan of Honkai: Star Rail and a dedicated member of the Stellaron Hunters fan club, I can hardly contain my excitement over the latest leak suggesting Silver Wolf’s return in Version 2.5! Ever since Kafka and Silver Wolf first appeared on my screen back during the game’s opening sequence, I’ve been hooked. Their dynamic duo quickly became one of my favorite aspects of this sci-fi RPG.
A recent sneak peek about Honkai: Star Rail hints at the comeback of a fan-favorite character in Version 2.5, along with a new event. This sci-fi role-playing game developed by HoYoverse boasts a rich collection of characters for gamers to interact with across its three playable universes. In Honkai: Star Rail, over fifty characters can be played, and three additional ones are scheduled to debut when Version 2.5 launches. Among these characters, there’s a select group that has garnered immense love from the RPG community.
The Stellaron Hunters were an instant hit with many fans following the initial debut of Honkai: Star Rail. Players are first introduced to Kafka and Silver Wolf through the game’s opening sequence, showing off the duo of Stellaron Hunters infiltrating the Herta Space Station. Star Rail would later add Blade during the story of the Xianzhou Luofu, and Firefly would become an instant hit among fans following her debut with the game’s newest world, Penacony. Now, one member of the Stellaron Hunters is planned to make an appearance in Star Rail‘s next update.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Silver Wolf’s Return in Version 2.5
A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker HomDGCat is teasing the return of a fan-favorite Stellaron Hunter during Version 2.5. According to the leak, Silver Wolf will make an appearance during an event featured as a part of the upcoming Version 2.5. The leak shows off several pieces of dialogue with Silver Wolf, suggesting she may be involved with Honkai: Star Rail‘s previously leaked “Luminary Wardance” event. The leak does not confirm whether Silver Wolf will appear in-person or through the mini-game featured in the event.
Silver Wolf’s return in Version 2.5 was not the only thing leaked by HomDGCat about the events for Star Rail‘s next update. The leaker suggested that Version 2.5 may be a light update for Star Rail fans, currently only expected to feature one “major event” and one “minor event” during the patch. Previous leaks have also hinted that Version 2.5 will bring a pair of new Planar Ornament sets to Honkai: Star Rail, potentially teasing an update to the Simulated Universe. Version 2.5 has been confirmed to be launching on September 10.
With excitement building for Version 2.5, players have recently enjoyed a wealth of fresh content in Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 2.4. This latest update took fans back to Xianzhou Luofu, where they were introduced to two fresh characters – the debut of five-star character Yunli and the new form for starting character March 7th. Additionally, throughout its run, Version 2.4 will offer several re-runs, including a joint appearance by Huohuo, Yunli, and Sparkle during the second half, as well as the introduction of Jiaoqiu. In the near future, players can expect to encounter a familiar face once more in Version 2.5, with the return of Silver Wolf.
