The latest leak suggests that he will follow the Path of Harmony, which I believe will make him an invaluable asset to any team.
Recently, there’s been a leak about a forthcoming character in Honkai: Star Rail, who goes by the name Sunday. It appears that this character is set to be added to the roster soon. Ever since its launch on April 26, Honkai: Star Rail has been consistent in introducing two new five-star characters with each update.
Update 2.4 for “Honkai: Star Rail” has already incorporated a fresh five-star character, Yunli, a sword-wielding individual hailing from Xianzhou Zhuming. In the upcoming segment of this update, we’ll meet Jiaoqiu, the renowned healer from Foxian. The second phase of the current update is slated for August 21st.
Over the past few months, there have been several leaks about upcoming characters in Honkai: Star Rail, one of which is the popular character known as Sunday. Known primarily as Robin’s older brother, he is currently an NPC on Penacony (or the Planet of Festivities). According to a leak from Sakura Haven, it’s suggested that Sunday will soon become a playable character and his path, as per the leaks, will be the Path of Harmony. Characters who follow this path in Honkai: Star Rail are typically strong at offering team bonuses or buffs.
Honkai: Star Rail – Sunday’s Path, Element, and Release Date
Trustworthy sources hint that the version of Sunday playable in Honkai: Star Rail on the upcoming Sunday will deviate from his character as seen in the main storyline. It’s speculated that he will sport a more somber, dark wardrobe instead of his current white attire. As for his combat style, past whispers hinted that he might be an Imaginary user. Originally anticipated to debut in update 2.7, recent gossip suggests that Sunday could make his appearance earlier than expected.
Based on the most recent updates, it seems Sunday could make his appearance alongside update 2.6, tentatively scheduled for late October. The only definite detail about his arrival is that he won’t be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5. HoYoverse has already announced the two five-star characters set to debut in this update: Feixiao and Lingsha instead.
Feixiao is set to be highlighted in the initial rotation of banners starting on September 9th. Latest leaks about Honkai: Star Rail suggest that players will have the option to pick among three repeat characters – Robin, Kafka, and Black Swan. The second phase of banners is expected to roll out around September 24th, showcasing Lingsha and Dr. Ratio as the limited five-star characters.
