The widely acclaimed HoYoverse sci-fi RPG continues to add fresh, distinctive characters with its latest world of Amphoreus, even introducing a novel playable Path. Now, we get a sneak peek at one of the game’s upcoming characters.
Before the launch of Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.2, HoYoverse has started to hint at the characters that will be included in the upcoming update. In Version 3.3, two fresh characters are expected to join the game – Hyacine and Cipher, who will appear as Wind Remembrance and Quantum Nihility characters respectively. Recent leaks offer some insights into how Hyacine might perform in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Details Hyacine’s Kit
According to leaks from Honkai: Star Rail leaker Luna, we have insights into Hyacine’s debut kit once she is released in Version 3.3. In combat, Hyacine’s Normal Attack will inflict Wind damage based on her maximum health, while her Skill revitalizes her comrades’ health and summons Ikako, her Memosprite. During her Ultimate ability, Hyacine applies a distinctive “Hatsune” buff to herself, simultaneously healing her team and boosting their health while under the effect of this buff. Furthermore, Hyacine’s Talent enhances Ikako, with each heal providing an enhancement to Ikako’s damage output.
- Normal Attack: Deals Wind DMG equal to a percentage of Hyacine’s Max HP
- Skill: Restores the HP of one of Hyacine’s allies and summons her Memosprite, Ikako, with Max HP equal to a percentage of Hyacine’s Max HP
- Ultimate: Hyacine gains the Hatsune buff, restoring her allies’ HP by a percentage of her Max HP and summons Ikako. While Hyacine has “Hatsune,” Hyacine’s allies Max HP is increased by a percentage of Hyacine’s Max HP.
- Talent: When Hyacine or Ikako are healing, Ikako’s damage is increased.
- Trace 1: All of Ikako’s attacks are guaranteed to be critical hits.
- Trace 2: When Hyacine’s Speed is greater than 200, for every additional Speed point, her Healing effect is increased.
- Trace 3: Increases Hyacine’s Effect RES.
- Ikako Skill: Launches an AoE attack
- Ikako Talent: When Hyacine’s HP drops below a specific amount, Ikako consumes its own HP to provide a healing effect.
The disclosure also offers insights into the distinctive bonuses bestowed upon Hyacine and her Memosprite through her exclusive Traces. For instance, Hyacine’s initial Trace significantly enhances Ikako, ensuring that her Memosprite consistently deals critical blows in its attacks. Furthermore, additional Traces enhance Hyacine’s healing capabilities when her speed surpasses 200, while also boosting the resistance to effects for her allies. The leak further reveals a few aspects about Ikako’s assaults, which involve Area of Effect (AoE) strikes and restoring allies by draining its own health reserves.
In the upcoming Version 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, it’s not just Hyacine who is anticipated to make an appearance; another significant character named Cipher is also rumored to join the game later in the update. This five-star character is expected to be a Quantum Nihility type, with a critical focus and additional damage as key aspects of her design.
It’s also been whispered that Cipher’s arrival will coincide with enhancements to DoT (Damage over Time) effects within Honkai: Star Rail. It’s suggested that Cipher will leverage these DoT effects as a primary source of her damage output. Thus, Version 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail is poised to add two distinctive new characters to its roster after its release in May.
