Honkai Star Rail: All Murmuring Woods Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat

In the update for Honkai: Star Rail version 3.1, a brand-new location called “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany has been incorporated into Amphoreus. This area is similar to others in the world by introducing fresh Golden Scapegoat challenges.

In this location, there are a grand total of 3 elusive Golden Scapegoat riddles for you to discover and conquer. However, locating them proves to be more challenging than unraveling their mysteries! Interestingly, two of the three are concealed within puzzle chambers, forcing you to solve additional puzzles just to get a glimpse of the Golden Scapegoats themselves. It’s not as straightforward as other areas, but have no fear – we’re here to lend a hand!

All “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat | Honkai: Star Rail 3.1

#1 – Serene Court of Learning

In the “Murmuring Woods” Grove of Epiphany within Honkai: Star Rail version 3.1, you’ll find the sole accessible Golden Scapegoat. To get there, navigate south from the “Serene Court of Learning” Space Anchor and utilize the Hidden Passage to bridge the gap. Upon doing so, the Golden Scapegoat will be directly in your path.

Before your past self appears, you’ll need to make a sequence of four moves. Here are the instructions: Move right, then down, followed by an upward move and finally another rightward move.

Performing this action will cause you to land directly onto the yellow dish, following the appearance of your previous self. Once that happens, follow these instructions: Move right, then upward, followed by a downward move and finally another upward one.

In simpler terms, your previous form will jump into the opening and land on the bright yellow dish ahead. Then, simply move right two more times to get to the altar and crack the mystery!

If you found that rather straightforward, brace yourself. The next two Golden Scapegoat riddles in this region are about to become significantly more complex.

#2 – F1 Puzzle Room

In this case, you should locate the elevator situated at the far-west end of the “Whispering Woods” Grove of Epiphany zone F1. Once you find it, the elevator will transport you to a challenging room filled with puzzles.

Initially, solving the Golden Scapegoat riddle can be quite challenging, but don’t worry, we’re here to guide you through it. Firstly, utilize the book near the entrance to alter the room’s time and create a magical effect. This action will cause a flower elevator to appear next to you.

You’ll find a shrine altar that has a blue orb near a bloom. Interact with the orb and then hop onto the flower. Then, take the flower lift down to the lower level.

On the ground level, find the time-changing book apparatus ahead of you. Interacting with it will cause lotus plants to emerge and create a bridge.

Walk across the lotus-blossom bridge, then take a right turn. You’ll come across the “Prediction” Oracle Stone, a little challenge that involves solving a straightforward shape riddle to move forward.

Walk towards the container adorned with gold, located near the blooming lotus plants bridge, and strike it firmly. The impact will trigger a flower lift to appear before you. Climb aboard this lift and travel upwards to reach the higher level.

After turning to your left once more with your back towards the direction you came from, you’ll find yourself standing before the enigmatic Golden Scapegoat riddle at the far end of the corridor. Now is the perfect moment to unravel its mystery!

Solving the F1 Puzzle Room Golden Scapegoat Puzzle

In the Golden Scapegoat riddle, you’ll have only 6 chances before your former self mysteriously manifests. Here are the instructions for your actions: move right, then left four times, and finally move left again.

move right, then down, followed by two rights and a left, and finally another right.

In simpler terms, reach the top and ignite the altar to finish the puzzle. The previous figure should end up on the yellow dish once it follows its path.

#3 – F3 Puzzle Room

The final Golden Scapegoat puzzle is located within the F3 puzzle room in the Grove of Epiphany area of Honkai: Star Rail 3.1, which is situated in the western part of the “Murmuring Woods”. We’ve placed a marker on the map to help you find it easily.

Similar to the last puzzle chamber, obtaining the Golden Scapegoat will require some effort. Upon entering this new puzzle room, interact with the book altar on your left to alter the time.

As you move forward, you’ll notice a lotus-style bridge appearing to your left. Please pick it up and use it as a guide to navigate the staircase leading you to the upper level.

As you ascend to the upper level, there will be another reading material waiting for you on the way. “Time travel” magic trick, if you can do it again, may help you alter the clock in the room.

Then, aim both Miracle Orbs at the central part of the room by pointing them towards the dividers that link the center with the rest of the space.

After that, seek out the flower lift located by the bookshelf-like altar. Retrieve the sky-blue oracle from the adjacent shrine altar once you find it. Next, hop onto the blooming ride and descend with it.

Upon reaching the ground level, take a leftward turn to locate the “Blooming Burst” Oracular Stone. Solve its riddle to generate a towering blossom at the far end of the chamber.

To get to the flower foretold in the Prophecy Tablet, walk over the lotus-shaped bridges, then approach it and activate it to make it descend. Once it’s there, climb aboard and use it as a ride to reach the higher level.

Solving the F3 Puzzle Room Golden Scapegoat Puzzle

Rising up, I’d suggest orienting yourself towards the south. You’ll spot a lush green container adorned with a radiant golden sphere – that’s your target! Give it a tap on the side that aligns with the flower elevator. The diagram provided earlier should guide you, just follow the arrow therein.

After observing the radiant sphere, notice how it smashes the neighboring containers, uncovering the Golden Scapegoat enigma in the process! Engage with it to initiate its solution.

On this occasion, much like the prior enigma known as the Golden Scapegoat, you’ll have six steps to take before your past self manifests. Please enter these instructions: move right, move right again, then left, followed by another right, and finally four consecutive rights.

As soon as you set foot on the yellow disc, your former self will materialize. After that, take one step to the left, followed by another step to the right.

In a subsequent round, you’ll need to keep walking back and forth (left and right) to take your turns, while your counterpart will advance to the left only once before proceeding right until they step onto the blue plate and come to a halt.

At present, simply proceed to your left as far as feasible, aiming to land on the altar, thereby resolving the puzzle!
