As a longtime fan and player of Honkai Impact 3rd, I must say that Aglaea’s leaked kit seems like a rollercoaster ride of excitement and confusion for me! With my years of gaming experience, I can tell you that the new memosprite mechanic is certainly intriguing and unique. However, there are some aspects that seem to be somewhat confusing to play with.

In the upcoming version 3.0 of Honkai: Star Rail, Aglaea’s leaked gameplay kit suggests that she could be a complex character to construct and utilize in battle. However, I am eagerly anticipating the additional strategic depth she might introduce. It has been confirmed that Aglaea is one of the new characters being added with Version 3.0, alongside The Herta and the Remembrance Trailblazer. Alongside the introduction of the Trailblazer’s new form, Aglaea will also contribute to the debut of the Remembrance as a new playable Path in the update. Furthermore, she will be the first of the Amphoreus characters to appear in Honkai: Star Rail.

Since Aglaea is a character with Remembrance abilities, she can summon a memosprite ally to the battlefield. Details about her memosprite and how they interact on the field are still under wraps. However, the beta testing for Version 3.0 has shed some light on upcoming changes in the game. This includes insights into how memosprites work with existing support characters, as well as a potential free bonus in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0. Among the leaks from the Version 3.0 beta tests is a comprehensive overview of Aglaea’s playstyle.

Aglaea’s Complete Kit In Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Has Leaked

The Amphoreus Character May Be A DPS Unit

It’s been reported by the leaker Dim that all specifics regarding Aglaea’s kit have supposedly been disclosed. This includes details about her base stats, materials needed, associated Eidolons, abilities, and passive traits, as well as traces. These details were posted on Reddit, tagged as “reliable.” Additionally, Aglaea’s Ultimate, which was not included in the initial post, has been shared separately on Reddit. The leaks suggest that when Aglaea attacks basicly, she inflicts Lightning damage on a single target, and there is an enhanced Basic ATK with her memosprite in Honkai: Star Rail, which can be triggered through her Ultimate.

As a gamer, I’d say it like this: “Aglaea unleashes her secret ability, summoning Garmentmaker to our side. If Garmentmaker isn’t already present, she leaps onto the battlefield. But if he is, Aglaea heals him up a bit. Now, with both of us synced, we strike at the target, dealing damage based on our combined stats. Surprisingly, this attack doesn’t stop there – it extends to harm any enemies close by as well!

Another important aspect of the leak is Garmentmaker’s own abilities. With their Memosprite Skill, they deal Lightning DMG to an enemy and adjacent targets. One of their leaked Talents grants them a SPD bonus, up to six times when they attack an enemy afflicted with the “Seam Stitch” status. Their other Talent sees that when Garmentmaker is summoned, the unit’s actions are immediately advanced by 100%. The final leaked Memosprite Talent says that when Garmentmaker disappears, 20 Energy is restored for Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail.

Using Aglaea’s revealed Ultimate, which appears to consume 350 Energy, she can bring forth Garmentmaker. If Garmentmaker is active on the field, the memosprite’s health is fully restored. Additionally, her Ultimate places Aglaea in the “Supreme Stance” mode, enabling her to act instantly.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share some intriguing details from the recent leak about Honkai: Star Rail. The leak reveals an interesting countdown mechanism within the Ultimate skill, with a fixed Speed (SPD) of 100. When the countdown reaches my turn, sadly Garmentmaker gets destroyed. Once the memosprite vanishes, Aglaea’s “Supreme Stance” state concludes as well.

The leaked equipment reveals that Aglaea’s overworld ability conjures Garmentmaker for a unified attack, causing Lightning damage to all opponents while potentially afflicting them with “Seam Stitch” upon entering combat in Honkai: Star Rail. Additionally, Aglaea’s passive Traces significantly impact her leaked kit. It is rumored that one of these Traces boosts both Aglaea and Garmentmaker’s Attack power when Aglaea is in the “Supreme Stance” state. The boost is proportional to a substantial percentage of Aglaea’s Speed and Garmentmaker’s Speed, respectively.

The latest revealed passive ability of Trace suggests that when Garmentmaker is absent, it preserves up to one stack of its SPD boost, and upon reappearance, it accrues the equivalent number of SPD boost stacks. Moreover, this leaked information implies that Aglaea’s skill usage or combat entry increases Garmentmaker’s damage output by 30% for five consecutive turns. Additionally, when Aglaea assumes the “Supreme Stance,” Garmentmaker continues to retain this damage bonus effect. Given these leaks, it appears that Aglaea may function as a Damage Per Second (DPS) character within Honkai: Star Rail.

Aglaea’s Leaked Kit In Honkai: Star Rail Seems Confusing & Wonky

There Are Contradictory Points In Rumors & Leaks

In the upcoming character Aglaea’s kit, the memosprite mechanic appears to fit nicely. However, some parts of the leak suggest that Aglaea might be somewhat tricky to play because of her unique aspects. One such aspect is that Aglaea’s offensive abilities appear to scale with SPD, a stat not commonly seen in characters from Honkai: Star Rail. Remarkably, the additional ATK Aglaea and Garmentmaker gain from SPD seems substantial, potentially making them very powerful. If built correctly, Aglaea could even reach a SPD of 400, making her one of the quickest units in the game.

The problem is that Sunday’s speed (SPD) doesn’t meet the requirements necessary to effectively support Aglaea, which would ideally be faster in Honkai: Star Rail. Sunday’s role as a support character works well with Aglaea due to his ability to boost energy regeneration, addressing her high ultimate cost, and enabling immediate DPS actions and summoning.

If Aglaea’s damage heavily depends on a high Speed stat, she could outpace Sunday excessively, reducing his effectiveness as a support in team compositions. However, there are not many characters in the game that require high Speed for damage output, making this aspect of Aglaea’s leaked kit intriguing, albeit complex. On the other hand, her Ultimate needing 350 Energy might make her reliant on Sunday in Honkai: Star Rail, as he is the most capable support for restoring Energy.

Beyond this, it appears that Aglaea’s character might be quite delicate, much like a fragile memosprite, and maintaining her may prove challenging due to the dependency of her kit on the summon to inflict damage. This could potentially impact the overall performance of the team composition negatively. In essence, Aglaea seems to require careful handling yet offers significant damage output, which makes her an intriguing character to understand and master. It remains to be seen how she will collaborate with Sunday and in various team compositions without Sunday, as their compatibility might depend on each support’s unique abilities. The uncertainty surrounding Aglaea is what makes her so fascinating.

It appears that Aglaea’s equipment kit is shaping up to be quite exceptional and possibly groundbreaking for some time, as it not only introduces a new character called Remembrance, but also has the potential to significantly impact gameplay. The high damage output, high Speed bonuses, and remarkable Energy requirements make this set seem almost exclusive to Aglaea. While mastering it might initially appear complex, I’m confident that it will prove valuable in helping various team compositions excel during Honkai: Star Rail’s third year of content.
