As a seasoned Honkai: Star Rail player with countless hours logged in this captivating universe, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation as we approach version 2.5! The revelation that Topaz & Numby will grace our screens once more instead of Dr. Ratio is music to my ears. I’ve always had a soft spot for those Trotter-hunting Fire duo, and their return couldn’t come at a better time.
Information obtained from a leak suggests that in version 2.5 of Honkai: Star Rail, Topaz and Numby will take precedence over Dr. Ratio for promotions. Over the last few weeks, data miners have been unveiling various details about the upcoming changes in Honkai: Star Rail. They’ve hinted at potential new bosses and modifications to endgame modes, promising players free Stellar Jades, Tears of Dreams, and Fuel. These rewards are set to be distributed by Feixiao, a five-star character from the Hunt path.
In every new update for Honkai: Star Rail, I find that they toss in two five-star characters to temporary banners. This gacha-style RPG is all about providing a wealth of choices and enabling players like me to craft our dream teams for the challenging endgame content. Similar to Genshin Impact, the game’s top-tier characters show up on event banners, which stay in rotation for three full weeks.
According to recent leaks from StepLeaker, it appears that characters Topaz and Numby will return in version 2.5 of Honkai: Star Rail. Previous speculations suggested Dr. Ratio might take their place on the limited banner, but new findings suggest otherwise. The datamined data indicates that a Fire unit based on the Hunt theme will be introduced during the second phase of the upcoming update, marking Lingsha’s official debut in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 Rerun Characters
- First phase: Black Swan
- Second phase: Topaz & Numby
In the game Honkai: Star Rail, Topaz is a high-tier (five-star) character who inflicts Fire element damage. As a Hunt-themed figure, she summons a potent ally named Numby, who unleashes sequential attacks and scouts for Trotters within a designated area. Enemies are afflicted with the Proof of Debt status by Topaz, and they take increased damage from subsequent attacks she initiates. When Topaz activates her ultimate ability, her ally enters a unique condition and is granted numerous enhancements.
As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to share that alongside Topaz and Numby, Honkai: Star Rail is rumored to introduce Black Swan in version 2.5! According to leaks, the highly anticipated five-star Nihility unit, Black Swan, will make its debut in the game during the initial phase of the update. This exciting news also hints at a series of four-star characters making a comeback on special banners. Can’t wait to see Feixiao in action!
Version 2.5 of Honkai: Star Rail is set to introduce three fresh characters – Feixiao, Lingsha, and Moze – each with distinct abilities and backgrounds. As per the schedule, Feixiao’s banner will be featured in the initial phase of 2.5, followed by the introduction of Lingsha and Moze during the second phase. The upcoming version also promises new limited Light Cones and engaging interactive events.
