Let’s take a look at the simulated results from NBA 2K26 for the Miami Heat versus Charlotte Hornets Play-In Tournament game to predict the winner. Both teams are battling for a spot in the playoffs and a chance at an NBA Championship – something no Play-In Tournament team has ever achieved. Still, making it past this round puts them in contention. Here’s what NBA 2K26 predicts will happen.
Who wins Heat vs. Hornets NBA Play-In Tournament according to NBA 2K26?
Our NBA 2K26 simulation predicts the Charlotte Hornets will win against the Miami Heat in the Play-In Tournament with a final score of 130-95.
The Hornets easily defeated the Heat. Miami, which hadn’t been held under 100 points in many games recently – just twice since February 6th – only managed to score 95 points in this game.
| TEAM | Quarter 1 | Quarter 2 | Quarter 3 | Quarter 4 | FINAL |
| MIA | 29 | 20 | 32 | 14 | 95 |
| CHA | 37 | 26 | 34 | 33 | 130 |
The Heat played well in the first and third quarters, but couldn’t regain the lead after the first ten minutes. The Hornets capitalized on this, building a significant 63-49 lead by halftime.
Miami managed to stay within striking distance in the third quarter, but Charlotte’s offense proved too strong, leaving Miami trailing 97-81 with only ten minutes left in the game.
The fourth quarter sealed the Hornets’ victory. After Tyler Herro’s three-pointer put Miami ahead 114-91, Charlotte went on a 9-0 run with four minutes remaining. Miami only managed 14 points in the quarter, allowing the Hornets to pull ahead and win the game, moving them on to the next round.

The Hornets won their game and are moving on to the next round of the Play-In Tournament. They’ll play the team that loses the Magic versus 76ers game later today. This win doesn’t guarantee them a playoff spot yet, though – they still need to win one more game to reach the First Round.
Man, that was a great team win! Honestly, both Brandon Miller and Moussa Diabate were huge for us. Miller really carried the scoring with 26 points, but Diabate was a monster on the boards, grabbing 19 rebounds! And LaMelo, as always, chipped in with 22 points. We were moving the ball really well tonight, and it showed.
That concludes our NBA 2K26 simulation of the Heat versus Hornets Play-In game. We hope you enjoyed it, and we’re excited to see how the actual game plays out tonight!
Our simulations let us refine our predictions by testing different CPU settings. While we constantly strive for improvement, accurately forecasting outcomes is always challenging. This year’s playoffs were especially unpredictable and filled with thrilling plays.
