With the release of the highly anticipated WWE 2K26 just days away, 2K has announced the cover star for its new deluxe edition. This follows previous announcements for the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars editions, and builds excitement for the game’s launch.
So, on January 26th, 2026, Triple H dropped a video on social media. It featured Paul Heyman, the Hall of Famer, hinting that someone from The Vision would be the next face of the game. The video was pretty funny – Heyman was basically pestering Triple H about all the different cover star options he was considering.
Paul Heyman initially proposed Bron Breakker and Austin Theory as potential cover stars for WWE 2K26, even before mentioning Brock Lesnar or Logan Paul. However, the reveal took a surprising turn when Triple H and Heyman arrived at WWE headquarters to find a large sign announcing Triple H as the cover star for the deluxe edition. The game, titled “King of Kings,” will be available for pre-order starting January 30, 2026.

Triple H is a veteran performer in WWE who has appeared in many of the company’s video games over the years, even gracing the cover of several editions. He was featured on the cover of WWE Raw vs. SmackDown for the PlayStation 2 in 2007 and again for the Wii version in 2009.
As a huge wrestling fan, I’ve always been amazed by Triple H! He’s a multiple-time Hall of Famer, which is incredible, and now he’s in charge of creative content for WWE. It feels like forever ago, but I remember seeing his last match – it was against Robert Roode and Samoa Joe back in 2019 at a live event. It was a bittersweet moment, seeing a legend like him wrestle for what turned out to be the last time.
