In the game “Wuthering Waves,” Ciaccona stands out as a rare, top-tier character belonging to the Aero element, wielding Pistols. Given this setup, it’s not hard to surmise that an out-of-combat unit like Ciaccona often possesses crowd control capabilities – and indeed, Ciaccona does just that!

By fully charging Forte Gauge through her attacks, the roaming minstrel can subsequently unleash a Basic Attack to create a vortex known as Downbeat Note, drawing adversaries within it. What sets Ciaccona apart is her ability to place copies on the battlefield before switching characters, with these replicas continuing to perform even after she departs, inflicting Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle damage in the process.

Zani + Ciaccona + Rover (Spectro)

In the game Wuthering Waves, Ciaccona’s Outro Skill enhances the Aero Erosion damage inflicted on enemies. However, at present, there are no primary DPS characters that can utilize this ability effectively. Instead, we have two Spectro DPS characters that can be paired with Ciaccona because they depend on the Spectro Frazzle skill to deal massive damage. An example of one such character is Zani, a 5-star main DPS who transforms Spectro Frazzle into Heliacal Ember to build up her Ultimate Forte points.

In the team setup, Ciaccona functions as Zani’s off-field Spectro Frazzle provider, using Moonlit Clouds Echo set and Static Mist to apply Spectro Frazzle through Resonance Liberation, while also offering some attack boost for the primary damage dealer, although it might not be the optimal choice for Zani.

Phoebe + Ciaccona + Rover (Spectro)

In her role off the battlefield, thanks to Resonance Liberation, Ciaccona has the ability to use Aero Erosion or Spectro Frazzle at your command via Quick Time Events (or automatically apply Spectro Frazzle if you switch to other characters immediately). Excitingly for Phoebe’s main players, Ciaccona can continuously apply Spectro Frazzle to fresh enemies, making Phoebe an excellent choice for multi-wave challenges such as Whimpering Wastes.

In my gaming world, the third spot in my team is open for Spectro Rover. This lets me pile up to 10 Spectro Frazzles, which triggers the Eternal Radiance Echo bonus. Now, you can definitely include characters like The Shorekeeper or Verina in the mix as well. However, since this team revolves around Spectro Frazzle, Ciaccona’s damage output isn’t as significant. Therefore, it’d be wiser to equip Moonlit Clouds Echo set on her instead, boosting her attack for the next Resonator.

Jiyan + Ciaccona + Rover (Aero)

Although Ciaccona’s toolkits primarily focus on Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle, she is capable of boosting regular Aero damage as well. She even deals a reasonable amount of damage herself. Therefore, she makes a suitable teammate for the 5-star Aero DPS Jiyan in Wuthering Waves.

In the third position on the team, players have two options: they can choose to add Aero Rover to further enhance Aero Erosion, or opt for dedicated healers like Shorekeeper or Verina. Don’t forget to outfit Ciaccona with the Gusts of Welkin Echo armor set, as it boosts Aero damage for the team’s Resonators. If possible, she should also wield her signature weapon, Woodland Aria, which decreases enemies’ Aero resistance, making it ideal for an Aero-focused DPS character such as Jiyan.

Remember, as of now, there isn’t an ideal character who works particularly well with Ciaccona. It’s likely that a new character might be introduced in a future update, one that could harmonize perfectly with Ciaccona’s abilities.
