Drift0r reveals mysterious illness that might force him to retire from making content

Popular Call of Duty YouTuber Drift0r might have to stop making videos because of an unknown health issue that’s causing problems with his joints and muscles.

On May 21st, the influencer announced on Twitter that he has lost all function in his joints.

Drift0r reports injuries to both ankles, wrists, and elbows, along with several sprained fingers and toes, and even a jaw injury.

The YouTuber explained that he’s still struggling with injuries, saying his shoulders and hips are barely holding up, and his spine hasn’t fully healed from a previous surgery.

“I think I’m running out of time,” he wrote.

I’ve completely run out of working joints. I’ve sprained both ankles, knees, elbows, and wrists, plus several fingers and toes, and even my jaw. My shoulders and hips are barely holding up, and I’m still recovering from surgery on my broken spine. I feel like I’m running out of time.

Drfit0r responded to a worried fan by saying that no one, including himself, understands what’s going on with his health, but his brain scans have shown no abnormalities.

He shared that he’s been having a hard time with his mental health, but is remaining hopeful and believes he’ll eventually get through it.

My mental health is struggling but still holding strong.

I will figure it out eventually

The YouTuber currently thinks it might be an autoimmune problem, but they’re seeing a specialist in immunology and rheumatology in five weeks to be sure.

Drift0r losing ability to move and speak due to unknown medical issue

Drift0r shared a new YouTube video explaining his health issues in more detail. He said the illness is now affecting the muscles in his face, causing trouble with blinking and speaking.

He explained that resting his bent arms on the desk for even a short time would likely cause a sprain. Even simply straightening his arm would result in a less severe sprain.

He recently tested negative for Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, but he’s still very concerned about his health and is hoping a specialist can provide more answers.

Drift0r told his fans he’ll continue making videos for as long as his health permits, but he doesn’t know what the future will bring.

He said he hoped it would all turn out to be insignificant, and that he’d be able to recover quickly and return to his normal self, even if that meant just feeling somewhat better. He really just wanted to get back to work and start creating things.

People are showing their support for the YouTuber after this recent news, offering him encouragement while he seeks more information.
