Don’t Expect To See 1 Spider-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars – Report

A recent report suggests that Miles Morales, the Spider-Man from the animated films, likely won’t be in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars movie. Fans last saw Miles in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), and he’s expected to return in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is planned for release in 2027 – the same year Avengers: Secret Wars is set to come out.

Miles Morales likely won’t be in Avengers: Secret Wars

According to Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus, Miles Morales might not be featured in the upcoming live-action film, Avengers: Secret Wars.

A fan recently asked Kevin Feige for news about a live-action appearance of the character in Avengers: Secret Wars or another upcoming Marvel project. Feige’s reply was short and sweet: “Nothing yet, I’m afraid.”

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, recently shared an update about the possibility of Miles Morales joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Variety, Feige said that Sony Pictures has asked Marvel not to pursue incorporating Morales into their films, and that there’s currently no progress being made on bringing a live-action version of the character to the MCU.

We got a first look at ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’ at CinemaCon 2026, and the photos hint at a dramatic story. One image shows Miles Morales with his father, while another depicts him fighting a different version of Spider-Man. There’s also a glimpse of Spider-Punk declaring, “gonna save your dad.” The film is set to hit theaters on June 18, 2027, and these images were shared on Instagram with the hashtag #SpiderVerse.

At CinemaCon 2026, directors Justin K. Thompson and Bob Persichetti hinted that the new movie will be a moving and visually stunning conclusion to Miles’ story.
