As a researcher with a background in blockchain technology and web3 infrastructure development, I am excited about COTI’s recent announcement of the COTI V2 developer network going live. The privacy-centric Ethereum-based layer-2 network promises to introduce advanced garbled protocols and confidentiality to the blockchain, opening up new possibilities for decentralized finance (DeFi), on-chain sensitive data management, confidential machine learning and artificial intelligence, Dynamic Decentralized Identification, and confidential transactions.

Ahead of the anticipated rollout of privacy-focused Ethereum layer-2 network COTI V2, infrastructure development firm COTI has introduced a developer community.

In a recent announcement to CryptoPotato, the COTI V2 developer network became active, bringing new confidentiality features and complex garbled protocols to the blockchain.

COTI V2 Devnet Goes Live

The developer community offers various opportunities for market players to investigate multiple applications of web3 technology. Among these are:

The COTI V2 test network offers various resources for development teams, featuring a Python Software Development Kit (SDK), a gas refund facility for on-chain transactions, a NodeJS SDK, remote server access, comprehensive instructions, and a platform for on-chain data exploration.

COTI engineered its network to support the testing of novel smart contracts via COTI V2. The prominent web3 infrastructure developer maintains that developers can utilize this network to develop advanced techniques for protecting private data through multi-party computation.)

COTI Unveils $52M Grant Program For Devs

As a researcher studying the COTI Foundation, I can share that they’ve announced a fresh grant program aimed at motivating developers to construct on their devnet. The Foundation has earmarked 400 million COTI tokens, which translates to around $52 million based on current market prices, from the existing token pool for this purpose. By offering financial incentives, they hope to encourage teams to delve deeper into unexplored use cases and unlock the full potential of a privacy-focused web3 infrastructure.

The COTI foundation labeled the grant as the ABC Growth Fund, designed for ambassadors, constructors, and innovators on the development network. This initiative invites submissions from creative builders, skilled developers, and passionate researchers aiming to explore the full potential of the COTI ecosystem.

Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO of COTI, announced: “We’re welcoming global participation in the COTI V2 Developer Network through our Builders program. We invite teams worldwide to contribute to our developer network and showcase their projects. An exciting year lies ahead filled with innovation, new collaborations, and expanding COTI’s reach.”

As a crypto investor, I’m excited to share that COTI is initiating the builder program for its ABC Growth Fund. This fund has a four-layered design intended to progressively enhance our ecosystem. To join this program, developers must submit their applications showcasing privacy-preserving smart contracts, tools, and products as proofs of concept (POCs).
