Ciara Miller is finally addressing the recent drama surrounding her ex, West Wilson, and her friend, Amanda Batula, who have revealed they’re now connected. Miller, who has been quiet until now, opened up in a new interview with Glamour about feeling betrayed by both of them. She explained, “Ultimately, men will be men, and you can’t always predict their actions. But I never expected this from Amanda, someone I considered a close friend and ally for so long. That’s what’s most shocking to me.”
Honestly, as someone who watches a lot of reality TV, this scene just gutted me. She was saying she really went to bat for Amanda, even arguing with her ex, Kyle, to try and support her. She felt like she’d constantly been Amanda’s advocate, trying to build her up and help her see how amazing she is. So to be treated so dismissively and with such disrespect… it clearly left her speechless. You could just feel her hurt, and she genuinely didn’t know what to say.
Miller explained that she and West had a clear understanding about their boundaries, specifically agreeing not to date anyone involved with the Bravo network, like Amanda. They’d openly discussed what they each needed from the friendship to make it work. “We talked about what we expected from each other and how to keep things easy,” she said. She jokingly noted that agreement is now broken. Fans are eager for their next meeting to address everything.
