Compile Heart has officially announced the latest installment in the Neptunia series. Following a brief teaser last week, the game is titled Choushinjikuu Game Neptune Unlimited, which roughly translates to “Hyperneospacetime Neptunia Unlimited.” It will launch in Japan on August 27th for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5.
The main characters – Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert – are all back with updated looks. While Neptune will continue as the main goddess, each of the other nations will now be protected by new guardians. Also, Blanc’s nation, formerly known as Lowee, is now called Sweenia. This new city, built nearby, has become the nation’s capital, and is a nod to Nintendo’s Wii and Switch consoles.

Neptune and her companions will face the ultimate threat, the “True Doomsday,” by forging alliances, battling enemies, and learning from setbacks along the way.
