Now, with The Elder Scrolls VI on the way, I’m not worried about the size of the world – Bethesda always delivers on that! What I’m really excited about is figuring out where they’ll take us next, and how they’ll make it feel totally new and different from everything we’ve seen before.
Many fans consider Morrowind to have the strongest magic system in The Elder Scrolls series, thanks to its detailed spell creation tools that let players truly feel like powerful mages. Later games, like Oblivion and Skyrim, simplified this system, with Skyrim ultimately removing the ability to create custom spells. However, even Morrowind isn’t necessarily the best magic system ever – several other games offer comparable or even more impressive magical experiences.
