The Big Bang Theory’s Co-Creator Reveals The Show’s Original Name, And How It ‘Lasted For About Five Minutes’

It’s difficult to picture The Big Bang Theory with any other title. A different name would have meant a completely different theme song, likely not by the Barenaked Ladies. According to Bill Prady, one of the show’s creators, as revealed in Jessica Radloff’s book “The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series” (reported by TVLine), they considered a different original title – and thankfully, they decided against it.
