Miller’s novel, Revolution, is the second book in a pair set between the films Batman and Batman Returns. The follow-up, Resurrection, introduces a fresh take on the Riddler and includes two obscure Batman villains. Considering Miller’s well-known love for the character, I recently asked him why he believes the Batman story continues to resonate with audiences after so many years. He responded by saying:

Continuing the Legends series is a challenge, as Pokémon Legends Z-A follows one of the most popular Pokémon games ever made. Arceus was so innovative that many people anticipated Z-A wouldn’t be as good, or even just about the same. Surprisingly, while it might not be a superior game overall, Pokémon Legends Z-A actually improves upon Arceus in several ways.

It’s unclear if any more actors from Victorious will be joining the new show, which takes place at their old high school. Pentagon spokesperson Kingsley Wilson recently criticized a show, calling it “woke garbage.” On October 16th, he told Entertainment Weekly that the U.S. military, under President Trump and Secretary Hegseth, is focused on returning to its traditional values. He stated they won’t lower their standards to align with any particular ideology, contrasting this with Netflix, which he accused of consistently creating and distributing content he considers to be “woke garbage” to both adults and children.

Disney has released similar long-form, atmospheric videos before. They’ve included relaxing scenes like the beach house from the Agatha All Along series, a rainy meditation with Daredevil, and even the sound of Wolverine breathing. Some of the villains in Demon Slayer were well-developed, especially early antagonists like Kyogai and Rui, the spider demon. However, as the story progressed to the battles against the Upper Moons, the focus shifted more towards the strength of the fighters and their techniques, and less on the villains’ backstories. While the Upper Moons weren’t simply there to be defeated, none of them had quite as much impact on the series as Akaza, Upper Moon 3.
