The Bavazzatini cocktail, which has been popular in Paris, is being celebrated with a launch party in Rome at La Posta Vecchia. It seems Italians are only now discovering the espresso martini! Singer Mindy will be performing, as her song “Ruins” from last season’s finale has become a big hit there. I find the idea of Mindy becoming a small celebrity quite amusing. It’s also funny how she immediately left Alfie alone in Paris after asking the guys to keep her company, and flew off to Rome.

I’m grateful to my TV for always being a great listener – I secretly enjoy being watched by my devices! The season kicks off with Emily in the arms of her new love interest, Marcello, and his very first line is, “Come back to bed.” Yes! This is a fantastic start!

Chris Chalk is working to develop a series focused on his character, Dick Hallorann, from the It universe. He’s pitched a spin-off idea based on It: Welcome to Derry and believes Hallorann’s abilities allow for many storytelling possibilities now that he’s established within that world. As he told TV Insider, he sees potential for Dick to continue being a part of the franchise.

Netflix is famous for canceling TV shows. While many of these cancellations are quickly forgotten, some fans still feel disappointed about the lost potential. One show that still stings for many viewers is a complex, sci-fi mystery series that premiered on Netflix nearly three years ago.

The final episode focused on small wins, as there wasn’t much strategic depth or complicated gameplay. The players were kept occupied with tasks – searching for bags, piecing together a map – mostly to keep them busy. Ultimately, Soph found a hidden advantage after a climb up a tree. However, the advantage itself was minimal: she was allowed to take just two steps closer to the finish line, a gesture Jeff acknowledged was unlikely to make a significant difference.

For years, Southern Charm has focused on flawed men and the women who put up with them, and that hasn’t really changed. But the usual drama between Austen, Shep, and Craig is getting repetitive. Now, it’s the women who are bringing something new to the show. Sometimes their storylines revolve around the men, but often they don’t. Watching Molly, Salley, Venita, Madison, and Rodrigo (who surprisingly has a bigger influence on the relationships than the guys) try to cool off in Craig’s sweltering kitchen, I wondered if this was the show’s new focus. Could these women be the heart of Southern Charm going forward? I really hope so.

As the June 26th release of the Supergirl movie approaches, DC Studios has started showing it to test audiences. Although the trailer briefly featured Jason Momoa as Lobo, a recent report suggests he’s a significant supporting character, not the main villain.

NCIS has had a strong season, showing improvement after some weaker storylines in the past. While the show faced challenges adjusting after Mark Harmon left in Season 19, Season 23 has brought compelling new developments for both Alden Parker (Gary Cole), who took over as team leader, and Jessica Knight, with her intriguing new role within an elite NCIS unit.

Many established anime franchises are struggling to stay relevant as new, exciting shows gain popularity. Anime is constantly changing, and viewers are now more discerning, expecting strong character development and fresh storylines. While some older series were once incredibly popular, they’re being surpassed by newer anime that offer original ideas and push the boundaries of the industry.

Leonardo DiCaprio, known for his upcoming film One Battle After Another (releasing in 2025), recently offered advice to Jennifer Lawrence during a conversation for Variety’s Actors on Actors series. Lawrence starred in Die My Love earlier this year. The two actors previously collaborated on the Netflix film Don’t Look Up and are set to work together again on a new movie directed by Martin Scorsese, based on Peter Cameron’s novel What Happens at Night. As this will be Lawrence’s first time working with Scorsese, she asked DiCaprio for some insight into the director, and he responded:
