The rumors were correct: Battlefield 6’s Season 1 release included a free-to-play battle royale mode. Some players experienced issues simply downloading the game, and those who tried playing alone found the experience wasn’t what they expected.
Is there a solo mode in Battlefield REDSEC?
Battlefield REDSEC doesn’t allow players to play alone. Even before the game launched, it was known that you’ll always play with teammates, either in pairs or four-person squads. This is different from most battle royale games, particularly those that are free to play, which usually offer a solo option. It’s unclear why EA DICE made this decision, but due to player feedback, they might consider adding a solo mode in a future update.
It’s hard for many people to find time to play with friends, and some prefer not to play with strangers. While the unexpected release of REDSEC was thrilling for most Battlefield players, any problems with it are likely to be frustrating.
Players have also reported unexpected account restrictions and difficulty accessing the Battlefield 6 Battle Pass. While these problems are usually solvable, playing Battlefield REDSEC alone isn’t currently possible.
