Over the past day, I’ve noticed a significant turnaround in the cryptocurrency market, with bullish activity seemingly making a comeback after a few dismal days. In fact, the market has experienced a substantial increase, adding approximately $70 billion to its total capitalization.
Over the last day, Bitcoin has experienced a significant rebound, reaching approximately $63,000. Let’s examine this development further.
Bitcoin’s Price Stages a Recovery
Just a couple of days ago, Bitcoin tumbled below $60,000 and even briefly dipped below $59,000.
Luckily, after taking a hit, the bulls swiftly bounced back and put on an impressive show, reaching as high as $63,400 earlier today. However, it has since dipped slightly, but Bitcoin still managed to secure a 3.4% increase over the past day.
It’s significant to point out that Bitcoin has generally outperformed the other leading ten digital currencies, ranked by their total market value.
Approximately $120 million in value of highly-leveraged crypto market positions were liquidated, with the vast majority being short trades. Today’s overall mood has significantly brightened when compared to yesterday, now standing at a neutral sentiment that rose by 17 points.
Altcoins in a Sea of Green
From the heatmap presented, it’s clear that various altcoins are experiencing growth as they all show positive trading figures at this time.
As a researcher studying cryptocurrency markets, I’ve noticed that some major coins like Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Solana (SOL), Ripple (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), Tron (TRX), Toncoin, and Cardano (ADA) have seen modest growth, with gains ranging from 0.5% to 3%. However, it’s worth noting that Bitcoin has outperformed all of them, as previously stated.
Speaking of standout performers, it’s worth noting NEIRO on the Ethereum network – a popular meme coin known for its lively online community. In just the last day, this coin has surged over 40%.
Overall, WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) ranks as the second strongest gainer among the top 100 cryptocurrencies, with a growth of nearly 30%. Coming in third is Ethenea (ENA), showing an increase of 25%.
At the opposite end, Uniswap (UN) has dropped by 2% today. However, it’s important to mention that over the last seven days, the value of UNI has climbed by a substantial 17%.
