• MasterCard is understood to be resuming services for payments and deposits in crypto on Binance.
  • Mastercard withdrawal services have not been resumed as yet but this is expected to happen at a later date.

As a researcher with extensive experience in the cryptocurrency industry, I’m excited to share that Mastercard is reportedly resuming services for payments and deposits in crypto on Binance. This comes after Mastercard temporarily suspended these services last year due to regulatory challenges that Binance was facing in the United States.

Starting from now, Mastercard users are welcome to buy cryptocurrencies on Binance once again. This change comes after Mastercard temporarily halted this feature back in August 2023.

Binance announced that in addition to Mastercard payments, they will once again issue Visa cards branded by Binance.

Approximately a year ago, Binance faced several regulatory issues in the United States, coinciding with its separation from the card networks. During this period, the exchange encountered numerous accusations from both the SEC and CFTC.

As a crypto investor, I’ve observed Binance’s rigorous controls and processes with great interest. I’m thrilled to share that Mastercard has made the decision to enable purchases related to Binance on their network. I’m excited about this development and anticipate further support for additional features like withdrawals in the future.

As a crypto investor, I’m thrilled to see companies like Visa and Mastercard embracing the crypto world with open arms. They’re making significant strides in the Web3 and self-custody wallet arena, allowing for smoother transactions and more control over my digital assets.

Correction: Updates information on Finance-branded Visa cards now being issued again.
