The disagreement occurred close to King’s Cross Station in north London. A video shows actor Benedict Cumberbatch arguing with a cyclist, filmed by someone who witnessed the event.

A witness told The Sun that Benedict Cumberbatch got into an altercation with another cyclist after they both sped past in the bike lane.
In the video, someone accuses him of being delusional and lying, stating they were always supportive. He responds by saying he was verbally abused.
The other cyclist responded with sarcasm, saying something like, “I really lost it on the guy who was clearly breaking the law over and over.” Cumberbatch then confessed, “I only did it once.”
Cumberbatch was accused of speeding through a crosswalk and running three red lights, but he firmly denied it, saying, “No, I did not.”
A woman intervened to calm things down, and the other cyclist then rode away. Cumberbatch, meanwhile, took photos with fans who had witnessed the strange encounter.
Benedict Cumberbatch will appear in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
