Watching “And Just Like That…” is like diving into a whirlwind of confusion, but last week’s episode proved that even chaos can be entertaining. However, this week’s “Carrie Golightly” seems to be chaotic in its structure – why are so many half-baked storylines clouding our 44 minutes? Could we have spent less time on the repeated joke about Giuseppe and his large pig, visible through the Hot Fellas denim onesie? We’re only three episodes in, but already, the long-distance relationship situation is weighing down everything else. Carrie appears so somber, doesn’t she? It reminds me a bit of Samantha Jones, but I can’t imagine her allowing Carrie to accept such an unfavorable deal. With no friends left to give her a reality check, it’s really dampening what could have been at least a somewhat enjoyable experience.
