As the final of Physical: Asia approaches with only four teams remaining, we’ve analyzed past performance and fan theories to offer our predictions for who will win.
I was totally hooked by ‘Physical: 100’ when it first came to Netflix in 2023, and Season 2 last year was just as amazing! It’s a Korean reality show where 100 athletes – all different ages, body types, and genders – compete in seriously tough challenges for a big cash prize. It’s wild to watch!
Next up is Physical: Asia, a new competition where teams of six from eight different countries – Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Australia, and Turkey – will compete to determine which nation is the strongest. The winning team will take home a prize of one billion won (around $700,000).
The third part of the series arrived on Netflix on November 11th, and the last episodes will be available next week. Before then, here are our guesses about who will win.
Physical: Asia winner prediction

Our top bet is on Team Korea winning Physical: Asia.
Currently, Australia, Japan, Mongolia, and Korea are competing. Japan won Quest 4, the Battle Rope Relay, which means Australia, Mongolia, and Korea will face a Death Match in the next episode. Whoever finishes last will be eliminated from the competition.
Okay, so here’s the really sneaky part they didn’t tell us going in. The three players each team picks for the Battle Rope Relay? They can’t compete in the Death Match afterwards. It basically splits our team right down the middle – half of us are doing one challenge, and the other half is doing the other. It’s a tough choice figuring out who to put where!
The Death Match requires teams to push a massive 1,200kg pillar for 100 laps, so they’ll need their strongest members doing the work. Korea planned ahead by resting some of its strongest players during the Battle Rope Relay, giving them a powerful team ready for the pillar push.
However, the situation is different for Mongolia and Australia. Australia has a strong track record of success in this competition, so it’s no surprise many expect them to win the Physical: Asia event.

Online sleuths on Reddit have been examining the trailer and the first episode, and some think they’ve spotted the Australian team practicing against targets while Mongolia is visible in the distance.
With this in mind, these are the teams we think will make it through to Quest 5:
- Team Mongolia
- Team Japan
- Team Korea
Korea has become a strong competitor, and has even surpassed Australia in the amount of cargo it transports.
The team’s clever strategy during the Battle Rope Relay might give them the winning advantage. And considering the show Physical: 100 loves unexpected twists, with Australia often favored to win, a victory for Korea could be the ultimate surprise on Physical: Asia.
It’s all just guesswork at this stage, but fans are already sharing their predictions about who will win.
Physical: Asia fans vote for their winner

It seems there’s no clear favorite among online fans of Physical: Asia, but many are rooting for Team Mongolia to win as an underdog. A recent poll shows Mongolia is the most popular pick, receiving 202 out of 542 votes.
Team Japan finished second with 152 votes, followed by Team Korea in third place with 136 votes. Team Australia came in last with 52 votes, likely because of their performance in the first episode.
One Reddit user suggested Australia is already guaranteed to win, calling them overwhelmingly powerful. However, another commenter noted that Korea performed better in ship cargo weight and Turkey excelled in the first challenge, implying the competition isn’t a foregone conclusion.
As a fan, I’ve noticed a pattern with the editing! It feels like the show loves to make it look like an underdog team is about to lose, building up the drama, but then they pull off a win. It’s a ‘Cinderella run’ style of editing, and I think Korea is being set up like that right now – they’ve definitely done it before in other episodes.
Okay, so a lot of people are predicting Australia might get knocked out after the Death Match. It seems like everyone thinks Korea, Japan, and Mongolia are the real contenders for the top spot. Honestly, even as an Aussie, I kinda agree – those three look super strong. There’s even a bit of a buzz around Mongolia; someone said they just always seem so happy and positive, and they’re rooting for them to win!
One person expressed support for Mongolia, but also acknowledged Australia’s potential to win. Another commenter believed Australia wouldn’t succeed, pointing out that video analysis showed an injury to a team member’s torso and that they were the lightest team competing in a challenge demanding both strength and stamina.
Someone else added that they were supporting Japan, saying they were a personal favorite and appeared to be a strong, well-rounded team. They specifically praised players Soichi and Itoi, calling them incredible.
I also really like the Mongolian team, but their strongest players – Adiyasuren and Enkh-Orgil – are carrying the whole team. While they’re amazing, their volleyball and basketball players aren’t performing as well, so I don’t think Mongolia will make it to the final three. Australia might be in serious trouble, too.

Someone noted they saw footage of the Australian team shooting, with Mongolia visible in the background, leading them to believe Australia lost. However, they added that this conclusion depends on whether South Korea made a mistake, and that the shot of the Australian hitting a target might actually be from a later round.
Someone replied to their comment, saying Korea wasn’t performing poorly, and that Mongolia was simply the physically stronger team. They also mentioned seeing Mongolia perform a different skill (with a joking reference to leg analysis), and believed Australia had made a significant error.
The fourth part of the series Physical: Asia will be available on Netflix starting Tuesday, November 18th. Before then, you can find out who won Physical: 100 Season 2, see how contestants were eliminated, and read about Eddie Williams’ comments regarding a possible Physical: Pacific spin-off.
