The November 2025 State of Play announced that the first downloadable content pack for Super Robot Wars Y will be released on November 21 in Asia. Players with early access will be able to download it two days prior, on November 19.
Just a quick reminder that Bandai Namco previously shared details about the SRW Y DLC, which will be available with the season pass. The first DLC pack, called Contract from the Darkness, will include the following content:
- Galaxy Cyclone Braiger (previously appeared in SRW Alpha Gaiden, GC/XO, & NEO)
- Unit: Braiger (Kid, Isaac, Bowie, and Omachi)
- The Big O (previously appeared in SRW Z series and SRW D)
- Unit: Big O (Roger Smith)
- Assist: Dorothy
- Song: Sure Promise (arranged)
- Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull (brand-new)
- Units: Kamen Rider Double, Kamen Rider Skull, and Kamen Rider Accel
- Assist: Tokime
- Song: W-G-X ~W Goes Next~ (instrumental)



This is only part of the new content planned for the game. A second wave of downloadable content for SRW Y has also been revealed, featuring Steel Jeeg, Da-Garn, and Getter Noir. Bandai Namco hasn’t announced when this second DLC will be released yet. The main game is currently available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam.
Bandai Namco has released an official trailer for the Super Robot Wars Y DLC. Players in the US will be able to download the first DLC pack on November 20th, with those who have early access getting it on November 18th.
The latest trailer announced a free update, version 1.1.0, launching November 17th or 18th. This update will include a new Battle Rush stage in Chapter 6 and a preview of the DLC1 content, which will be available to all players after completing “A Mission for Brave Heroes” in Chapter 2.
