This show will continue the story started in 2021’s WandaVision and 2024’s Agatha All Along, and the three series are being thought of as one complete story.
Elizabeth Olsen says she ‘didn’t know anything’ about VisionQuest until recently
Elizabeth Olsen recently told Inverse she hadn’t heard about Paul Bettany’s new series, VisionQuest, until they talked about it just recently. She said he’s very proud of the show, and it seems like a perfect addition to his work on ‘Agatha All Along,’ ‘VisionQuest,’ and ‘WandaVision.’ She’s looking forward to seeing it.
There’s been a lot of talk about Elizabeth Olsen potentially returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming show. Despite Olsen stating she wasn’t aware of the project ‘VisionQuest,’ it’s still possible she’ll appear. Marvel and its actors have often kept secrets about upcoming projects, like when Andrew Garfield famously denied being in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ before the movie came out.
Wanda appeared to die in the 2022 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and official Marvel materials seemed to confirm her death. Despite this, fans are still wondering if Elizabeth Olsen might return to play Wanda in future Marvel projects.
Following the events of WandaVision, White Vision grapples with his newly restored memories, finding it difficult to truly understand them because he doesn’t experience the emotions they represent.
The show features Paul Bettany as Vision, James Spader as Ultron, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, and Todd Stashwick as Paladin.
VisionQuest is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in late 2026.
