I’m so excited! AdHoc Studio just dropped the trailer for the last two episodes of Dispatch, and it looks like a huge fan theory might actually be true! If you haven’t played this awesome superhero game yet, be warned – spoilers ahead! They’ve been releasing episodes in pairs every week, and the final two are coming out this Wednesday, November 12th, at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. We only got a quick peek in the trailer, but it seems like fans might have figured out the ending!
The final preview trailer for Dispatch has been released, hinting at the truth of one fan theory
The latest preview reveals growing tensions within the group. The main villain, Shroud, is after the power source for Robert’s Mecha Man suit, though his motives remain a mystery. The team is shown telling Robert, “We want her out,” leaving the target of their request unclear. Immediately following this, Invisigal states, “They’re right, I don’t deserve anyone’s forgiveness,” suggesting the team may be trying to remove her. This could be a significant clue hinting at a plot twist that fans have already predicted.
A major part of the story in Dispatch focuses on the protagonist’s two main love interests: Blonde Blazer and Invisigal. Currently, more players are choosing to romance Invisigal, which could make a significant plot twist even more impactful.
Some fans of Dispatch think Invisgal might have been responsible for damaging Robert’s suit in the first place. When you rewatch the scene, you notice Mecha Man doesn’t initially have a bomb, but then one appears suddenly. Considering the world is full of superpowers, anything could have happened. However, if Invisgal did cause the damage, it would create a compelling story arc for her character. This act would have occurred before she even knew Robert, making the eventual fallout and her guilt much more impactful as they become friends—or even more than friends. It would also be fascinating to see how players respond to this reveal and the choices the game offers them.
Of course, this is just speculation at this point. While it’s an interesting idea, it remains unproven. The final episode of Dispatch comes out later this week, and we’ll all soon know what really happened. That’s part of the fun with a series like Dispatch – fans can make predictions between episodes and get excited for the reveal. It’s great to see how much fans missed Telltale Games, and it’s surprising it took so long for another game to capture that same feeling.
