A collaboration between Aptos Labs, the creators of the Aptos blockchain, and Microsoft, Brevan Howard, and SK Telecom was announced. This partnership aims to provide institutional investors with an entry point into the world of decentralized finance.

Through the collaboration, Aptos Ascend’s comprehensive institutional package will be made available. This includes assistance with regulatory requirements, safeguards for maintaining account and transaction confidentiality, and built-in KYC verification tools.

Some layer 1 projects like Avalanche and NEAR are making efforts to connect the decentralized finance (DeFi) world with larger institutions by forming partnerships. These collaborations aim to accelerate this process.

According to a press announcement, Microsoft Azure and its Azure OpenAI services will be incorporated into our financial suite solution.

Brevan Howard’s role will be to leverage their industry knowledge and experience to create possibilities for institutions to provide digital asset management services or products to their customers. Boston Consulting Group will assist in putting these solutions into action.

With the help of SKT, Brevan Howard, and Microsoft, Aptos Ascend, led by Aptos Labs’ co-founder and CEO Mo Shaikh, will offer a reliable, regulation-compliant, secure, and expandable connection to the decentralized finance world on Aptos for financial institutions, banks, and innovative money markets. This gateway is designed to continuously advance in the future.

In August, the company announced that Aptos is utilizing Microsoft’s framework to launch new products featuring artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology. One of these innovations is a fresh chatbot named Aptos Assistant.

Aptos Labs was founded by former Meta employees.
