Players of Battlefield 6 believe there’s a daily limit to how much experience points (XP) they can earn. After reaching this limit, they don’t receive any XP for playing matches, and surprisingly, this issue seems to happen even during events that offer double XP.
A Reddit user named ‘IFrame-’ reported that the popular shooting game seems to limit players to earning only 1,500 XP per day. Once you reach that limit, you won’t earn any more XP for kills, completing objectives, or finishing matches until the next day.
Okay, so hitting this goal is already tough on a regular day, but what this player is saying is that even with double XP weekends, it still takes a good chunk of time. They reckon you can finally reach it in around four or five hours when those XP boosts are active, which honestly still sounds like a lot of grinding!
Okay, so this probably won’t affect most of us, but those of us who really grind – you know, play for hours every day – are pretty upset about this cap they’ve added. A lot of fans are saying even having a limit like this is a bad move.
BF6 players slam daily XP cap
The original poster pointed out that in a $70 game – not a free mobile game – players are being limited in how much they can play each day. They argued this isn’t typical of free-to-play games with ongoing content, but rather a full-price game that’s been unnecessarily combined with a system of randomized rewards usually found in free-to-play titles.
One person questioned why they should be restricted from enjoying something they bought with their own money, saying, “It’s seventy dollars I spent on myself, so why limit my fun?” Another commenter playfully responded, “Congratulations on your new car! But you can only drive it 150 miles.”

Some people thought the experience cap was put in place to stop players from rapidly gaining levels by repeatedly playing modes like Portal or Redsec Gauntlet. However, others believe the cap is set too low, considering how easily it can be reached.
I was playing RedSec yesterday and I can’t believe I got 200,000 XP from just one win! The match wasn’t even that long, only about 21 minutes. Honestly, when I saw the 1.5 million XP needed for something else, it didn’t seem like a huge ask at all, considering!
Not that crazy, I got 140,000 XP for a gauntlet game yesterday,” added a second.
DICE hasn’t confirmed the XP cap yet, but it’s causing a lot of discussion among Battlefield players.
