Near the end of the starting quests in Arc Raiders, you’ll get one called “Building a Library.” This quest requires you to locate three books within the library in the Buried City and return them to Apollo at Speranza. Because this area is often busy with enemies, knowing the book locations beforehand will help you grab them quickly and escape safely.
To finish the “Building a Library” challenge, you must collect all three books during one single raid. Because of this, it’s best to be well-prepared with a strong shield, weapon, and enough ammunition to handle any fights you encounter while entering and leaving the library.

You can find the three books you’re looking for at the Library, which is a point of interest in the Buried City map. It’s located just north of Marano Park.
Okay, so Marano Park – basically the whole area around it – is a super busy spot on any Arc Raiders map. When I’m heading into the library there, I know I need to be on high alert and ready for a fight. If I’m playing solo, I’ve found it helps to just ask other players to be friendly – they don’t want to lose their progress any more than I do! But if I’m running this with a team, expect way more enemies trying to stop us.
Begin on the library’s ground floor. Find a small book cart near the tall bookshelves. When you interact with the cart, it will release the first book. Don’t forget to pick it up so it’s added to your items.
Grab the first book, then head upstairs to the second floor. You’ll see the second book on a small cart near the back wall.
Finally, go past the second book cart, turn left, and take the third book from the cart beside the tipped-over shelves.
Now that you’ve collected all the books, you need to extract them from the area to finish the ‘Building a Library’ task. Luckily, an extraction point is right outside the library’s front entrance, leading to the Northern Station metro. Be careful of ARC Pods, Fireballs, and other raiders while you’re in the metro, then extract and return the books to Apollo to complete the task.
