Justin Bieber admitted to intentionally starting his concerts late because he and his crew were busy playing ping pong. It’s true!
There’s nothing quite like the energy at the start of a concert, when the lights dim and the show is about to begin. Some performers have turned this moment into a show itself, building excitement with fake starts and introductory videos. But the real thrill comes when the artists finally take the stage and the music begins.
Delays don’t always happen on purpose. Sometimes there’s an unexpected technical problem, someone needs a quick break, or just a minor issue that needs fixing. It’s often hard to say exactly what caused it.
Justin Bieber has actually started concerts late before because he was busy playing ping pong! It’s true.
Justin Bieber delayed tour dates to play ping pong
I’ve been loving watching this Canadian superstar on Twitch lately! He’s been sharing all sorts of fun stuff during his streams, and it’s hilarious – he even showed us how crazy competitive he gets playing ping pong! It’s been a real treat getting a peek behind the scenes.
He mentioned spending many late nights recording in the studio, where they had a ping pong table, and even brought one on tour with them. He said this while walking around the table tennis setup in his streaming space after playing a game.

Justin Bieber has been sharing more openly about his life and music on his Twitch streams, and has confessed to feeling anxious about going live due to past experiences with online negativity.
He explained in late October that streaming on Twitch can be really difficult because people who are unhappy often take it out by leaving hurtful comments.
The musician announced he’d be performing live daily, but he hasn’t kept that commitment. He took a few days off at the beginning of November.
