The store manager doesn’t think anything of it either. Despite the fact that children have disappeared in Derry, Lilly confidently handles the task herself.

The situation quickly becomes terrifying. While shopping, the little girl starts hearing whispers, and the audience sees frightening figures that she doesn’t – other shoppers transformed into ghostly representations of the monster. The horror escalates in the pickle aisle, where she has gruesome visions of her deceased father, imagining his remains inside the jars. The shelves seem to close in on her, and the monster emerges, attacking her with its tendrils. Just before she loses consciousness, she wakes up, realizing it was all a nightmare… or was it?
