I’m blown away! The team behind Ninjas in Pyjamas, NIP Group, has become a huge player in Bitcoin mining. Apparently, they’re on track to make almost $20 million in Bitcoin every month – that’s incredible!
The gaming and entertainment company, based in Abu Dhabi, has increased its Bitcoin mining operation to produce approximately 160 Bitcoins monthly. At the current price of around $108,000 per Bitcoin, this production is worth over $17 million.
To achieve this, NIP significantly increased its Bitcoin mining power to approximately 11.3 exahashes per second. Essentially, this makes NIP’s mining operation one of the largest and most powerful operated by any publicly traded company.

NIP Group Co-CEO Hicham Chahine explained that the company is growing its computing capabilities as part of a larger strategy to serve a variety of industries.
Increasing our computing capacity allows us to explore advancements in areas like high-performance computing, cryptocurrency mining, and artificial intelligence for games and entertainment, he explained.
NIP has expanded its mining operations by buying more hardware and computing power. The company paid for these purchases with newly issued shares worth over 314 million, and the deal is expected to be finalized by November 30, 2025.
Carl Agren, NIPG Mining and Digital Assets’ Chief Operating Officer, explained that the company will put the new equipment to work right away to begin earning income, and also get it ready for upcoming projects in artificial intelligence and gaming.
NIP announced its growth is in line with its collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, which is backing the company’s new digital headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
