
A film studio is planning to make an animated movie based on the classic 1962 song “Monster Mash.” Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman has secured the rights to the song from Reservoir and Capizzi Music Co.
For over 60 years, ‘The Monster Mash’ has been synonymous with Halloween. We’re excited to work with the Pickett and Capizzi families and Reservoir Media to transform this classic song into an animated musical for everyone to enjoy. We aim to capture the original’s playful spirit and create a new Halloween favorite that families will love for generations, according to Glickman.
