A TikTok user named Matt Taylor is gaining a lot of attention online, with many people noticing he looks remarkably like actor Kevin James.
The person who makes these videos usually begins by saying, “Hi, I’m Mister Taylor.” He then shares about his work as an art teacher and often shows footage of his students.
The first video appeared on the account on October 15, 2025, and quickly led people to wonder if Taylor was actually Kevin James, a well-known actor.
The videos became incredibly popular very quickly, gaining millions of views and tens of thousands of comments across the six videos posted on the channel so far.
People watching the video have noticed a strong resemblance between the man and actor Kevin James, leading many to believe the ‘Matt Taylor’ account is a promotional stunt for one of his new films.
“If not Kevin James why Kevin James shaped?” one user asked.
Another commented: “I’m tired of being gaslit.”
Someone guessed this was an initial promotional push for the upcoming album, Solo Mio, set to release in February. They mentioned the artist plays a character named Matt.
Could this be Kevin James?
Kevin James is reportedly going to be in a new movie called Solo Mio, playing a character named Matt. While it hasn’t been officially announced, the movie’s title and character name have led many to believe the rumors are true.
Not much is known about the upcoming film beyond its release date of February 6, 2026. However, IMDB describes it as the story of a man named Matt who, after being left at the altar in Rome, decides to take his honeymoon trip alone and explore the beautiful scenery, culture, and people of Italy.
While we learn more about Solo Mio, James is currently featured in Playdate, an action-packed movie coming to Amazon Prime Video on November 12th.
