According to the official announcement made on September 1st, the 10th-anniversary event by Kojima Productions, which was announced earlier this month, promises a sneak peek into upcoming projects.

Beyond the Strand” Event Set for Streaming on IGN on September 22 at 9 PM PT / Midnight ET, and on September 23 at 5 AM BST

In other words, the event titled “Beyond the Strand” will be streamed on IGN on the night of September 22 Pacific Time (PT) and early hours of September 23 Eastern Time (ET). For those in the UK, it can be watched at 5 AM British Summer Time (BST) on September 23.

At the upcoming event, Kojima himself is set to be the host, but details about the topics to be covered remain unspecified. Currently, the developer has multiple projects in development, such as games like OD and Physint, as well as a Death Stranding movie at A24 and an anime adaptation of Death Stranding.

2015 marked the launch of the latest edition of Kojima Productions, which means it’s almost its 10th anniversary. Earlier, around 2005, an earlier version of Kojima Productions was established within Konami. However, Hideo Kojima, the founder, departed from the company in 2015 before this new studio was born.

So far, Kojima Productions’ latest iteration has launched two games – Death Stranding from 2019 and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach in 2025. Kojima hinted at concepts for Death Stranding 3, though he won’t be the one to develop it himself.

Kojima recently marked his 62nd birthday, but unlike many people at that stage, he expressed a desire to continue creating work right up until the end of his life.
