QTCinderella responds to Asmongold & Adin Ross doing their own streamer awards show

QTCinderella addressed the situation with Adin Ross and Asmongold, who are reportedly planning to create their own streaming awards show to compete with hers.

Streamers have been acknowledged at various awards shows throughout the years, but it wasn’t until QTCinderella created The Streamer Awards that an entire show was specifically designed to celebrate the streaming community.

The annual awards show created by the popular Twitch streamer has grown bigger each year, honoring those who create content on the platform. Despite its success, streamers Adin Ross and Asmongold are now considering starting their own competing event.

Asmongold believes holding the event in late December is possible, but admits it’s quite soon, particularly when it comes to booking a venue and coordinating everything. He also emphasized the need for significant security measures, and proposed naming the event ‘The Shame Awards.’

QTCinderella would welcome a Streamer Awards rival

QT doesn’t seem worried about the competition, and actually thinks the other show could be really fun to watch – a completely different offering from what she does.

I get asked for my thoughts on this a lot, and honestly, there are so many interesting categories they could add to make the show stand out. Every year, people ask me to judge drama-related categories like “Best Breakup,” “Best Cancellation,” and “Best Drama,” she shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

I believe they could really embrace that idea and create something remarkably fun, and they’re both capable of doing it. I don’t view it as a rivalry at all; I think they’d each bring something completely original to the table.

Someone asked QT why she doesn’t feature those types of questions on her own show, and she replied that she enjoys the categories she already uses.

Although Asmongold and Ross both stream on Twitch, their show is expected to be funded by Kick. This could set the nominees for The Streamer Awards apart and offer a unique alternative.

QT informed TopMob that she’s planning more events, such as a mini golf tournament inspired by the PGA tour.
