In Honkai: Star Rail, players have been given access to the unconventional Remembrance path with Amphoreus. Unlike traditional character roles, this path offers versatility. For instance, characters like Aglaea and Castorice are DPS-focused, but the Remembrance Trailblazer, f, demonstrates a more diverse role. The introduction of Hyacine to the path broadens its abilities even further, as she functions both as a sub-DPS and a healer, primarily through her summon.
In Honkai: Star Rail, Hyacine is versatile enough to join almost any healing team, but she truly shines when paired with main DPS units that increase damage as their Health Points (HP) rise. This is because her Ultimate skill increases the maximum HP of these characters, which in turn boosts their attack power. However, due to Hyacine’s lack of energy generation abilities and ATK-based buffs, as well as her status as an SP-negative unit, she might not be the best fit for teams that have trouble managing Skill Points (SP). Here are some ideal teammates for Hyacine in Honkai: Star Rail.
The distinctive radiance known as Hyacine’s Light Cone, titled “Endless Rainbows Above,” boosts her worth in particular scenarios and increases her adaptability when utilized. This effect is advantageous for characters such as Acheron, as it functions as a debuff, thereby amplifying Acheron’s overall damage output. However, it’s important to note that when considering Hyacine independently of her light cone’s merits, she might not automatically be the superior choice for Acheron compared to other healers like Gallagher, who can intentionally apply debuffs himself.
Instead of depending on Hyacine’s signature light cone for extra functionality, the teams in this guide will be structured around Hyacine’s primary equipment setup, known as her core kit.
Castorice + Tribbie + Remembrance Trailblazer + Hyacine
Best Hyacine Team Overall

Because of Hyacine’s ability to scale with HP and her deep synergy with Castorice, Hyacine’s abilities mesh exceptionally well with Castorice. Hyacine gains significant benefits from frequent healing and excess healing, which means she doesn’t need to wait for a healer or manually reapply effects as often. Characters with the Besotted debuff, especially for content like Pure Fiction with rapid enemy waves, make Hyacine’s immediate healing capabilities more valuable compared to Gallagher in fast-paced situations.
In the game, past Castorice, Hyacine’s ability to boost Hyperion’s (Tribbie) Health Points increases Tribbie’s damage capacity. Since Tribbie functions as a sub-DPS character, relying on high team Health Points to deliver maximum output, this setup not only amplifies Castorice’s damage but also allows Tribbie and Hyacine to make substantial contributions. Due to the scarcity of these characters, incorporating the Remembrance Trailblazer into the team is a wise decision. This character provides a team-wide Critical Damage buff which benefits Hyacine as well, reinforcing the team’s overall damage potential. Moreover, aside from Hyacine, all members of this team are either skill point neutral or have a positive balance, simplifying skill point management and alleviating concerns about Hyacine’s negative Skill Points.
Instead of Hyacine having an inherent HP drain mechanism to boost Castorice’s Ultimate, her unique light cone creates this effect, enhancing her synergy with Castorice (and also Blade). Since the light cone is part of the Remembrance path, players who want this mechanic for their team but don’t intend to acquire Hyacine can use it on the Remembrance Trailblazer character instead.
Mydei + Tribbie + Sunday + Hyacine
Premium Mydei Team with Hyacine

Mydei performs effectively when paired with Hyacine for HP scaling healing, but their synergy isn’t as strong as that of Castorice. Unlike Castorice who heavily relies on overhealing, Mydei doesn’t depend on it much, reducing the necessity of Hyacine’s healing in his kit. However, Hyacine’s HP boost for all allies and her summon’s damage output can offer extra support, especially beneficial when Mydei or other characters are not fully optimized. Although Mydei doesn’t need as much sustain as certain units, teaming him with Hyacine allows for more efficient double DPS configurations, similar to those of Castorice.
Mydei doesn’t get much advantage from Hyacine’s unique light cone because its health drain feature doesn’t boost her speed significantly. However, Sunday and Tribbie work well together as teammates. Sunday boosts Mydei’s attack rate, critical rate, critical damage, and overall damage output. Meanwhile, Tribbie offers RES Penetration and functions similarly to the Castorice setup. If you need more Advance Forward to increase Mydei’s synergy with Sunday, consider using additional units like Ruan Mei or Remembrance Trailblazer or Pela if you don’t have Tribbie.
In most situations, Mydei prefers to employ his special Skill instead of his basic attack, which keeps his Skill Points (SP) neutral. On the other hand, Sunday typically behaves in a similar manner, except when he’s armed with his light cone, at which point he becomes SP-positive. This means that if Sunday doesn’t have his light cone, even though Hyacine is SP-positive, players might encounter difficulties managing skill points effectively while playing together.
The Herta + Anaxa + Robin + Hyacine
The Herta Team with Hyacine
In simpler terms, while Hyacine’s HP buff doesn’t directly boost The Herta’s strength, she is a valuable choice for The Herta teams because she can stack abilities that benefit The Herta. This is particularly true when Lingsha isn’t available. If you have Lingsha, Hyacine might be less essential since both characters require a lot of Skill Points (SP). Unlike Lingsha, Hyacine doesn’t constantly need to use her skill to trigger her summon’s attacks for overhealing, making her easier to manage in terms of SP usage. This results in smoother gameplay and better efficiency in The Herta team compositions, where managing stacks and conserving SP is crucial. Moreover, since The Herta teams often have two characters with the Erudition trait, Hyacine can benefit from The Herta’s Critical Damage (DMG) buff, increasing her own damage, an advantage Lingsha doesn’t enjoy to the same extent. However, in fights against five or more enemies, Lingsha might still be preferred due to her mechanics scaling better in those situations.
In the context of The Herta’s teams, Anaxa shines as an exceptional support or sub-damage per second (DPS) unit. His high personal damage, capacity to boost teamwide damage by 50%, and skillset for inflicting weaknesses on enemies directly augment The Herta’s damage output. Furthermore, his buff amplifies Hyacine’s inherent damage potential. While Sunday and Tribbie are formidable choices, Robin is equally effective. Robin provides potent teamwide buffs, advance forward effects, maintains or even increases SP levels, thereby enhancing energy generation and offering The Herta more chances to accumulate additional bonuses.
Just like the Herta teams, the Hyacine could prove effective for the Feixiao teams, particularly when players find it challenging to employ Lingsha or Adventurine instead.
